Dr. Shweta Agarwal at her desk at Aansh Hospital & IVF Center

Dr. Shweta Agarwal trained in medicine and gynaecology — MBBS, followed by a Diploma in Gynaecology & Obstetrics (DGO) and specialised training in Reproductive Medicine (IVF) — before building a fertility practice that has now spanned three decades. For over a decade she practised as a fertility specialist at R.K. Hospital & IVF Center in Udaipur, Rajasthan, where she treated couples through cases that drew national press attention: a couple's triplets after IVF, a pregnancy achieved after 35 years of infertility, and a couple who travelled from Australia after five unsuccessful IVF cycles at home.

Alongside clinical practice, she was Organizing Secretary and Speaker for a Live Operative Workshop on IVF Techniques in Udaipur in 2013, and delivered public "IVF Knowledge Series" talks and free infertility-awareness camps across regional Rajasthan through 2022.

She subsequently moved to Chandrapur, Maharashtra, where she founded — and continues to lead as Founder & Medical Director — Aansh Hospital & IVF Center. She consults in Marathi, Hindi, English.

How she practises

Doctor-led. Personalised. Transparent.

"Fertility is deeply personal. My job is to give you clear, honest information and a plan that fits your situation — then walk with you through it." — Dr. Shweta Agarwal

Individualised evaluation

Every patient is assessed on their own clinical picture before any treatment is discussed — no one-size-fits-all protocol.

Written cost estimates

A written estimate is provided before any procedure, so there are no surprises partway through treatment.

Informed consent

Every stage of treatment is explained and consented to, in line with ART Act 2021 counselling requirements.

Least-invasive first

Treatment follows a ladder — starting with the least invasive option that fits, and escalating only when clinically indicated.

Dr. Agarwal also does not publish a blended IVF success-rate percentage. A single number — without age bracket, cycle count, time window and outcome definition — tells a patient very little about their own situation, so realistic, individual chances are discussed directly during consultation instead.
